“Tondos: Night & Day” A spherical exhibition by Lauren T Kistner

In a narrative derived from experiences, mistakes, and possibilities; her creative act is merely to set the paintings in motion. What better way than on a shape that rocks, but mostly rolls? See a collection of her signature abstract textural mixed media style paintings in the unusual format of the circle as a canvas - where the possibilities are endless and there are no sharp edges. Like port holes of color that are portals to another universe, in a roundabout sort of way, we invite you to “Tondo: Night & Day” A Spherical Exhibition by Lauren T Kistner.

HUGE Thanks to the Alexa Rose Foundation for their support!

Artist reception October 5th, 5:00pm to 9:00 pm FREE. Enjoy musical entertainment and wine by Indian Creek, along with hors d'oeuvres. Artwork will be exhibited through the month of October

Fantastic Felts and Fibers

Event Dates: 3/1/2017 - 3/26/2017
Reception: 3/2/2017  5-9 pm

Betty Maguire Hayzlett is a fiber artist, using hand-made felt and weaving to create both wall pieces and vessel forms.  The art works are rich contrasting textures and bright colors.  Although all of Betty’s work is fairly abstract, much of this current work focuses on landscape. All of her weaving is done with a needle, rather than a shuttle and large loom.  The felts, including the felted vessels, are made by wetting layers of raw wool with warm soapy water and then rubbing.
