I see my work as a vehicle for the personal spiritual quest.  Through it I am exploring the possibility that color, composition, and light can create an energy or vibration to awaken the viewer's awareness, to move beyond the painting itself to a timeless state, free of thought and self consciousness.

My art is about opening to spirit, to light, to life.  It has been a journey of letting go of all my ideas about what art is and learning to paint from that deep well of intuitive knowledge.  It is a process that requires a willingness to step into the unknown and the ability to relax in periods of uncertainty.  It is about trusting that the creative intelligence will have its way.
