This unique matte-finish plate was formed from a warm brown glass base with a persimmon crackle layer above, and deep red and aqua accents. The crackle glass is kiln formed using a special procedure and manipulated to create a one of a kind pattern. The piece has been carefully fired and annealed in the artist's computer-controlled kiln for maximum strength and durability and is hand signed and numbered. It is a food-safe and functional piece as well as a decorative accessory.
