Upon moving to Pocatello, Idaho with her family in 1981, the age of her children and the lack of a thriving art market in Southeastern Idaho lead her to seek other employment. As a result, she enjoyed 30 challenging and exciting years working in the non-profit sector and state government providing services to low income and underserved populations.
Retirement in 2014 allowed her to resume a career in ceramics. Today she continues to produce decorative sawdust fired Terra Sigillata, Raku fired ware, and functional stoneware pottery.
Her work is for sale at Art Source Gallery, Gallery 55 in McCall, ID, and the Crossroads Gallery in Baker City, OR. She participates in BOSCO, (Boise Open Studios) each October and her studio is always open by appointment.
