Mr
Fisher has been taking a wide variety of pictures for over 30 years. His
subjects include landscape, human interest, abstracts and flora. He moved
to the northwest in 1998 where he began to capture the unique qualities
of Western life, its history and scenery. Although he starts with a photograph,
each image is evaluated and processed in a unique way to bring out the
essence of the image. At times a photograph may be too harsh in its detail
in which case Mr Fisher brings his own unique brand of processing. The
processing is designed to bring out the essence of the image and mute
the balance. The final image leaves the viewer with the impression and
mood of the scene rather than its harsh reality. Mr Fisher produces a
limited edition, usually not exceeding 30, of archival quality prints
which he furnishes matted and framed. He feels it is important to furnish
a completed art work. |
